This batch has been matured in new French oak barrels for just over two years (compared with our usual 12 months). That extra year in the barrel has profoundly enhanced the "whisky notes" of this batch, while still preserving the essential characteristics of soft citrus and juniper you expect from a barrel-aged gin.
 
You'll experience rich caramel and butterscotch on the nose, with just a hint of citrus spice. 
 
On the palate, your first experience will be of delicious caramel, which then gracefully yields to citrus and juniper notes.
 
But it's the finish that's truly extraordinary! Think luscious and long lasting toffee flavours that linger in the mouth long after you've put your glass down.  
 
Sip it neat over ice, or use it as a base for any of your favourite whisky based cocktails. We love it in a Boulevardier and - of course - a New York Sour!
