IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION: we are only accepting group bookings at this time. We can accept bookings for up to 12 people in one class (minimum booking is for six people).

Tickets are sold based on the size of your group. The first six tickets are sold as Full Price tickets ($195pp + booking fee). Any subsequent tickets are sold as Additional Tickets (at $80pp +booking fee). A maximum of six Additional Tickets are available per class. A single payment for your entire group will be required at the time of booking.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have purchased six Full Price tickets as well as sufficient Additional Tickets to cover the size your group. Failure to do so may result in your Gin School experience being cancelled without refund.

We have six stills available for use in Gin School. As such, if you buy Additional Tickets, you acknowledge that certain members of your group will be required to share a still. For example, you buy three Additional Tickets. Your total group size is going to be nine people. That means that three people will have their own still and six people will have to share a still (two people per still).

In addition, by booking a Gin School Experience you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Age requirements

  • You are over 18 years of age at the date of booking.

  • Everyone in your group must be 18 years of age or over at the time of your experience.

  • We reserve the right to request ID for persons who appear to be under legal drinking age.

  • Any participants who cannot demonstrate they are 18 years or over will be asked to leave and refunds will not be provided.

COVID safety

  • You agree to comply with our registered COVID Safety plan and any relevant public health orders relating to your ability to participate in social events in a hospitality setting. This includes any vaccine requirements that may be in place at the time of your class.

  • You must advise us immediately if you or any of your group has tested positive for COVID in the previous 14 days or is otherwise required by a public health order to be tested and/or self-isolate.

  • If you or any of your group are feeling unwell or otherwise displaying signs of COVID on the day of your booked class, you must advise us immediately.

  • If your class is cancelled as a result of someone in your group testing positive for COVID or feeling unwell, we will issue you a refund for the full booking amount (less any booking fee).

  • We will also do our best to reschedule your class to a future date.

Cancellation by us

  • We may occasionally need to reschedule or cancel your class without notice for reasons beyond our control. If that happens, we will immediately refund your ticket price in full.

  • Please note certain fees and charges charged by our booking provider may not be refundable.

  • Cancellation by you

  • With the exception of COVID related cancellations, Gin School tickets are non-refundable. However, we will do our best to re-schedule your visit if we are given adequate notice that you cannot attend (at least 72 hours before your booked session).

  • If you do not arrive for your Gin School Experience tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.

  • Please note certain fees and charges charged by our booking provider may not be refundable.

  • Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash equivalent.

Only registered Gin School participants allowed on site

  • As a working farm and distillery, the only people allowed on site while gin school is running are gin school participants with a valid ticket. Please note that we have no facilities for accompanying guests and/or children and they will be asked to leave.

  • Refunds will not be provided if a gin school participant has to forfeit their place because they have brought a guest who does not have a valid ticket.

  • Gin School will not proceed unless at least six Full Price tickets have been purchased. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have purchased the correct numbers of tickets for their group.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

  • The Gin School Experience involves the sampling and consumption of alcohol and as such we would encourage guests to use public transport, taxis or arrange drop offs and pick-ups where possible. Vehicles cannot be left at Stony Creek Farm Distillery overnight.

  • We reserve the right to refuse the sale or sampling of alcohol consistent with the terms of our alcohol licence and State liquor laws.

  • Disturbance to other participants and/or our neighbours may result in the termination of your Gin School Experience and you will be asked to leave the property.

  • No refunds will be given if you are asked to leave the property for any breach of these terms and conditions.

General Health and Safety (please note separate COVID related requirements, above)

  • You must inform us prior to making a booking of any medical condition or physical impediment about which we would need to be aware in order to eliminate or anticipate any potential health and safety issue. If you are in any doubt, please CONTACT US to discuss your physical requirements.
